The call aims to promote human development in Armenian communities working in school governance and Local Development nexus and deepening school-community collaboration. Deadline: 16/11/2023
Through presentation and discussion, the participants learnt international best practice and discuss possible ways of its localization: Contribute to the expansion of cooperation and dialogue between local governments, with the aim of ensuring that local voices and needs are taken into account during the development of the decentralization strategy and road map.
On February 14, 2023, SALAR international hosted a housewarming event for the Sweden funded “Support to Decentralization and Local Self-Government Reforms in Armenia” (DeaLoG) Project. The project aims at building wider trust, competence, and capacity for decentralization.
On June 13–14, the DeaLoG project team carried out a two-day working visit to the Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions, holding meetings with representatives of the Goris and Yeghegis communities. The DeaLoG project continues its active partnership with communities across different regions of Armenia. This cooperation primarily focuses on the communities participating in the “School–Community” initiative. During these visits, the team discusses existing models of collaboration between schools and communities, explores opportunities for strengthening these partnerships, and highlights the role such cooperation plays in the decentralisation of education.
